Road Rovers

Road Rovers were a series of very cartoonish cars produced by Hallmark in the mid 1970s and revived in the mid 1980s. Early models were loosely based on vehicles typically seen on the road like fire engines, ice cream trucks, moving vans, and such. They had metal bases painted the same color as the body. Later models featured two series: several were updated versions of the original cars, and then there were new models based on objects such as vacuum cleaners or piggy banks. The later versions featured plastic bases. The wheels move.
