The screen illuminates with a scene of Andy and Opie walking down the road. It looks like Hallmark used the same mold for this ornament. The TV console is the same as the Twilight Zone but a red wood color.
2012 The Beverly Hillbillies TV Console - Hallmark released this Beverly Hillbillies ornament in 2012. It looks like a TV from the era of when Beverly Hillbillies was on the air. Press the button on the side of the ornament to hear the theme song and see the screen illuminate. It also uses the same mold as the previous ones but in a darker brown wood.
2014 Brady Bunch TV Console - Now we move into a new era of TV with a different mold design. We all remember watching a TV like this when you had to get off the couch to change the channel. The ornament plays the entire Brady Bunch theme song when you press the button on the side. The screen illuminates. Can you sing all the words?
2022 Friends TV Hallmark Ornament - Now we jump all the way to 2022 to get another TV ornament. This is definitely a TV from the era of the show, which ran from 1994 to 2004. A Central Perk mug sits on top of the TV. Rather than playing the theme song, this ornament plays two iconic dialog scenes. I don't know about you but I prefer theme songs (that can be found in other Friends ornaments though). Tilt the TV back and forth to see the scenes change using lenticular technology.
2024 Cheesecake Break Golden Girls TV Ornament - Press the button on the ornament to hear four iconic scenes from when the girls solve the world's problems over cheesecake. It looks like the kind of TV we may have had when this show originally aired. The screen illuminates and features lenticular technology to show two scenes when tilted side to side. Fans of Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia will enjoy the nostalgia of this ornament.
There have been a few other TVs that Hallmark has released but not highlighting a particular show like these. There is the Fisher Price Two Tune TV from 2012 and 2022 and the Grinch TV from 2023. Cute ornaments but I don't put them in the same category. We'll see what Hallmark comes out with next.
